How did you come to work for Giant Eagle?
In my previous role, I served as the Director of Career Services with Ohio Technical College in Cleveland, Ohio. I hosted several career fairs where I would invite employers to come meet and interview some of our students. During one of those fairs, I met some members of the Giant Eagle Recruiting team. We had a great conversation and spoke about all the career opportunities within Giant Eagle. I expressed interest in possibly wanting to join the team. Once a Recruiter position came available, I applied right away.
What do you enjoy most about the Giant Eagle company culture, and the specific culture within your department?
I enjoy that Giant Eagle is an innovative and progressive Company. From all aspects of Giant Eagle, I see effort and strategy to be our very best for our guests and each other.
Within my department, there’s a great deal of teamwork. We support one another, and we work together to achieve our collective goals.
What is your favorite Giant Eagle memory?
My favorite memory was the Standing Up Against Racism Town Hall. I am so proud and thankful to work for a Company that takes these matters to heart.
