At Giant Eagle, the health and well-being of our Candidates, Team Members, Guests and Communities is at the utmost importance to us. As our communities begin lifting restrictions, Giant Eagle continues to focus on the well-being of both our Team Members and guests. Safety will always be our top priority.
We are actively monitoring our interview and training processes and updating them to properly align with evolving local guidance. In addition, our participation in hiring events will continue to be monitored to ensure we are providing a safe and healthy environment for our candidates and Team Members.
During this unprecedented time, our Team Members are dedicated to keeping our stores clean and ensuring that our guests have access to fresh foods, medications, fuel, and other essential needs. In order to continue to meet the needs of our communities, we are safely hiring for a variety of positions across our supermarkets, pharmacies, GetGo’s and warehouses.
We have immediate needs to:
- help stock our shelves
- bag groceries
- load trucks & transportation (CDL Drivers)
- clean stores
- shop for Curbside Express orders (at our Curbside Express locations)
- pick orders (Warehouse Selectors)
- provide medication and assist with COVID vaccination clinics (Pharmacy Technicians)
- and many more!

We employ a wide range of processes and procedures in all of our facilities to ensure the food we offer every day to our guests is safe and available. During this time, we are ramping up our efforts to go above and beyond these standards.

Taking Preventive Measures
Stressing to all Team Members and guests the importance of taking preventative measures outlined by the CDC, particularly the need for anyone not feeling well to avoid visiting our supermarkets and GetGo locations.
