What do you love most about being a Meat Team Leader?
As cliche as it sounds, I love pretty much everything I do for Giant Eagle. But, if I had to pick one, it is the Master Trainer role. I used to be the guy who was unsure, lacked confidence, and may have been a little lost when it came to thinking about my future. Now I get to help others with these same problems. I've realized that the more people that I help to lead, inspire and develop is a true testament to myself and my leadership. I feel great satisfaction that when the trainees leave, they leave with my name attached and I feel responsible for them.
I truly believe our company is focusing on the right things to remain relevant. We've positioned ourselves to be a top competitor with our recent omnichannel initiatives. In addition to Curbside, guest loyalty, merchandising, Team Member engagement, diversity recruiting/retention, and freshness are all focused that will continue to make our Company great. I am excited to continue to play a role in rolling out future initiatives.
The thing I love most about my job is seeing the smile on our guest's faces when I show them their cake for their special occasion - from simple birthday parties to extravagant weddings - we in the bakery make or break their event. It is our privilege to make their event the most memorable it can be.

I'm currently an Assistant Store Leader in Giant Eagle's Store Leader Development Program. What I like most about my job is being able to interact daily with people from all walks of life, helping to ensure that our stores meet the needs of our community, and being able to work with and develop the people on my team.
