Meet Ina, Associate Support Analyst on Giant Eagle's Infrastructure Services Team!
This week’s #TeamMemberTuesday is featuring Ina, an Associate Support Analyst with our Infrastructure Services Team. Giant Eagle was one of Ina’s first stops when she moved to Pittsburgh and was amazed by the offerings to customers. She thought to herself, “this would be a great place to work one day.” She has now been with Giant Eagle for over 7 years!
What do you enjoy most about the Company culture, and the specific culture in your department?
I enjoy the relationship built with my coworkers throughout the years. As a workplace Giant Eagle has made that easy. The company motivates and challenges us to be more innovative and engaging.
What is your favorite Giant Eagle memory?
One of my favorite memories working here is when I was preparing for my citizenship interview, and my co-workers were so excited for me that they helped me study and also decorated my desk with American flags.
Out of the Core Values, which resonates with you the most? Why?
The Core Value Respect All resonates with me the most. It is easy to practice it – treat people the same way you want to be treated. Working with people from different levels in the organization has showed me that we must respect one another and always be kind to each other.
What three words would you use to describe Giant Eagle?
When I think of Giant Eagle these are the first three words that pop up in my mind: innovative, diverse, and caring.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment is achieving the American dream. Right after college I decided that I’d like to pursue more opportunities, so I left my native country Bulgaria and moved to the United States. It was very hard and bumpy road, but I had the support of my family and friends along the way. It was the biggest challenge of my life and I am proud to say that I succeeded in it.
