A Look Inside the World of WetGo at GetGo Cafe + Market! 

Are you an energetic, self-starter with a sales mentality? Do you thrive in a customer service environment? We’d like to introduce you to Bryana, WetGo Pro Supervisor. Bryana joined the GetGo team just as she was finishing her undergraduate degree at Point Park University and she hasn't looked back. With her positive, outgoing attitude, hard work and friendly smile, Bryana's been an invaluable leader at our Bridgeville WetGo location just outside of Pittsburgh, PA.

How did you come to work for GetGo? What has been your career path?

I started out as an Account Services Intern for the marketing agency that works directly with Giant Eagle. Here I was doing live events in the summers for Giant Eagle/GetGo, Grand Openings, and special Fuel Perk Activation Pop-Up Events. I was also working as a brand ambassador for the Company. This is where I started selling WetGo Unlimited passes. The WetGo team really took me under their belt and did everything possible to recognize and encourage me in everything I did. I started working then as a part time Customer Service Representative (CSR) during my last semester at Point Park University. After graduating in May 2021, I accepted a full time WetGo Pro Lead position. It was amazing watching WetGo grow so much in a matter of months, allowing me to grow, as well and contribute new ideas and my passion for customer service to the innovative Unlimited Program.

What does a typical day look like for you at GetGo?

When I get to work the first thing I do is check to make sure we have clean towels stocked and that the trash cans are not overflowing. Whether you’re a CSR or Wash Attendant, we all share the collective goal of making sure our space is clean and to send the cars through the wash as quickly and as efficiently as we can. Once that is complete, myself or my awesome co-worker, Tom, will stand by the kiosk and greet every car that comes through and educate them on the benefits of our Unlimited Program.

What made you think of GetGo as a possible place of employment?

Honestly, I never thought I would work for GetGo, it just kind of happened! The real reason I chose WetGo was because the quality of leadership I had. The WetGo team truly is incredible. They deeply care about their Team Members and always recognize and reward the hard work that is done. I knew just how fortunate I would be to work for a Company that appreciates what you do, and it inspires me daily to work even harder.

What do you love most about working in WetGo?

I really enjoy the daily interactions with customers as well as the support I have from my team, co-workers, and leadership. Every day you learn something new. What’s great about WetGo specifically is they welcome and encourage creativity. Any idea you may have is listened too and most times implemented. It’s just so cool.

What traits make a successful WetGo Sales Representative?

It all comes down to a simple smile and positive attitude. In a sales position, everyone assumes you have to be outgoing and be extraverted but that is not the case! While that helps, as long as you greet as many customers as you can per day with a warm smile, effective communication skills will go a long way with this role. Most of what we do is customer service and sometimes it’s troubleshooting the small problems that may arise. If you can think on your feet, even if there isn’t a solution right away, and if you can smile and remain calm, the customer will feel happy and secure in their decision to choose us for all their car washing needs. It’s simple, but very effective.

What three words would you use to describe GetGo?

Innovative. Fast-Paced. Dynamic.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

Spreading kindness and joy to others is my proudest accomplishment. As human beings it is impossible to truly be happy all the time, but what I find is the simple gestures go a long way. A simple SMILE and positive attitude when addressing the customer makes a world of difference. If I can maintain my high energy and positivity throughout my shift then I can feel accomplished and take pride in what I did that day.

Is there anything else you would like people to know about GetGo?

GetGo is truly a great place to work. There is always something new to learn and always a new face to greet!

What are some interesting hobbies or talents that most people may not know about you?

I thoroughly enjoy music. I am a singer/songwriter. I perform and record my own original music and hope to put out my own album, as well as, tour nationally someday.
