Position Summary

This position will help support the Safety Team by working on various projects and initiatives to enhance safety throughout the Company.

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct Ergonomic Assessments in Supermarket and GetGo locations
  • Create a central data repository for Underground Storage Tank compliance.
  • Conduct surveys to determine safety equipment needs in Supermarkets and GetGo locations
  • Coordinate with the Learning & Development Team for the development of a safety culture video and safety leadership training program

Reports To: Sr Dir, Environ Safety & Hlth

Qualifications
Education and Training Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience Required

  • 0 to 6 months
  • Partial completion of Safety related graduate degree

Work Environment

  • Normal office environment
  • Normal store environment with no continuous exposure to extreme temps, dust, etc
