Position Summary

The District Leader in Training is a key player in keeping the store team running like clockwork, because our customers’ clocks are ticking. After successfully completing 18-24 months in the Get Go Store Leader role, this unique program asks that the Training District Leader complete the Two phases below, and pass with flying colors! From the morning rush to the afternoon lunch crowds, you will collaborate with your store leadership team and other Team Members to make sure that each customer waiting for a fresh sandwich, picking up dinner or a late-night snack for their family, or simply waiting at the pump, is met with a smile and the great service they deserve.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coach the team so everyone can help drive incredible store success. Hold the team accountable to exceptional product quality, service, store conditions and cleanliness.
  • Hold yourself accountable to the highest operational standards.
  • Phase One lasts 6 – 9 months, and includes Multiunit leadership. The District Leader in Training is responsible for 4-6 locations (Micro Districts) which includes but is not limited to: Hold store teams accountable to a zero-incident personal, food and fuel safety culture and ensure short and long-term safety goals are achieved
  • Provide coaching to store leadership teams to ensure sales, expense and profit goals are achieved
  • Oversee store financial results and ensure store leaders effectively manage sales, margin, labor efficiency, shrink and other controllables
  • Support a compelling employment value proposition enabling personal and team success and increasing retention of high-performance Team Members
  • Plan for all current and future store leadership needs and proactively develop teams to provide constant flow of new, highly effective leaders. Share talent with other Get Go District Leaders to help ensure all regions are staffed effectively
  • Implement strategic initiatives that enable store teams to consistently deliver fast and friendly service to every customer
  • Promote a culture of customer service in every GetGo store
  • Ensure all store Team Members are trained to consistently deliver on restaurant quality and service expectations and maintain proper food-handling certifications
  • Prepare for and respond to all inventory and other essential store audits
  • Phase 2 of the program is 1 – 3 months in duration. During this phase, the District Leader in Training will spend time in the Corporate offices, learning various support roles: Marketing, Merchandising, Fresh and Fuel
  • Position will be located in PA or OH and relocation may be required
  • Responsible for controlling some expense within a department. Amount of Budgetary Responsibility: \\$1 – \\$100k
  • Responsible for direct and indirect supervision of team members in one or more departments.

Education and Training Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 18 months to 3 years of additional training

Experience Required

  • 1 to 3 years

Experience Desired

  • Must be a GetGo Store Leader for consideration into this program.
