How long have you worked for GetGo?
Tina Norris, GetGo Team Member at the O’Hara GetGo in Pittsburgh, PA
My first day was January 15th of this year.
What do you love most about working for GetGo?
My fellow Team Members are very helpful and nice. I like them a lot. I appreciate them because they try to help me when I need some extra help, so I really appreciate that.
How did you come to work for GetGo?
To work here, I went through Achieva who helps those that are differently abled. They help us find work. They help the differently abled community. I talked to them one day, and I think they took notice of me. I’m so grateful and thankful for the opportunity to work at GetGo.
What is the best thing about working for GetGo?
I like to be around people because I like for people to have an open mind.
What are you most proud of during your time with GetGo?
I’m proud of not needing my job coach for very long. I think they were here in the store with me from January through March or April. I learned the job quickly and am now on my own.
Tell me about your best day at work with GetGo.
I would say Saturdays are my favorite days because of one my fellow Team Member, Judy. She’s a heck of a worker. She is here on Saturdays, so I like when we work together. I could never fill her shoes because she’s such a great worker. I try to pick up what she does and learn from her.
Is there anything else you’d like for people to know about GetGo?
At GetGo, we have great Team Members. My co-workers are very helpful and will help anyone. I think that is important for everyone to know. We are all here for each other and for our customers.
